All vehicles parked at The Catholic University of America are required to register for a valid parking permit. Visitors can register for temporary parking permits via myparking.catholic.edu. All visitor permits are based on license plate number, so you will not be required to display anything in your vehicle.

Admission Visitor
Prospective students and their families may register for complimentary parking in preparation for their campus visit. Please complete the Admission Visitor Parking Form to register. It is important to enter your license plate information correctly even if you are driving a rental car or a vehicle with temporary tags. A digital note will be assigned to your registered vehicle on the indicated date of your campus visit. Completion of this form serves as a valid, general surface parking permit for use on one day only.
This form does not exempt Admission visitors from paying to park at the metered parking (Mullen Library and University Mall) on campus.

Contractors and Caterers
All contractors and caterers are required to register for a parking permit. Contractors and caterers may register for parking via Guest Parking to purchase a temporary parking permit.
As an alternative to purchasing a parking permit, metered parking is available on campus in front of Mullen Library and along the University Mall. Permit holders are not exempt from paying the meters. The campus meters are currently in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday - Saturday. The cost to park at the meters is $2/hour for a maximum of 3 hours. Major credit cards and bills in $1 and $5 denominations are accepted. The meter stations do not issue change. Please report any issue with the meters by calling 202-552-PARK (7275).

Department/School Visitor
Department/School visitors (e.g., auditors, consultants, guest lecturers, etc.) may register for sponsored parking in preparation for their campus visit. An appointed representative from each department/school on campus may request to register a visitor by providing the email address of the visitor and the date of the campus visit to the Transportation Office. This information can be provided by emailing cua-transportation@cua.edu.
Each department/school may sponsor five (5) individual permits within the same month free of charge. If a department/school uses five (5) individual visitor permits within the same month, the appointed representative for that department/school will be contacted. The permit allowance will reset at the beginning of the next month, or additional permits will be available for purchase.

Resident Visitor
Residents may register up to five (5) visitor parking permits each month. Resident Catholic University of America students are eligible to complete the Resident Visitor Parking Form for visiting family and friends. If a resident uses five (5) resident visitor permits within the same month, he/she will be contacted. The permit allowance will reset at the beginning of the next month, or additional permits will be available for purchase. Resident visitor permits may not be used to register a resident's personal vehicle or individuals affiliated with the University, including students, faculty, staff and non-resident visitors. Commuter students are not eligible to request resident visitor parking permits.

Summer Intern (Non-Catholic University Student)
Summer interns may register for parking on campus during their stay. Please visit guestparking.catholic.edu to purchase a temporary parking permit. It is important to enter license plate information correctly even if driving a rental car or a vehicle with temporary tags.
This form does not exempt summer interns from paying to park at the metered parking (Mullen Library and University Mall) on campus. Summer intern permits are valid for parking overnight in resident parking locations.
